Park Lane Hotel Wedding : Brittany & Guy : New York, NY
Brittany and Guy’s Elegant Park Lane Hotel Wedding in New York City
Brittany and Guy's nuptials unfolded amidst the refined elegance of the newly reimagined Park Lane Hotel—a true gem on Central Park South. This venue, with its iconic Manhattan charm and contemporary sophistication, set the stage for a wedding that was nothing short of extraordinary.
Set in late October, the atmosphere was crisp yet inviting, with warm tones of autumn gently settling across the city. Every detail, from the first look to the final toast, exuded grace and the unmistakable beauty of New York. The Park Lane Hotel belongs to a league of prestigious establishments that define luxurious Manhattan hospitality, sharing its neighborhood with icons like The Plaza and The Mandarin Oriental. Uniquely, the Park Lane offers a balance of grandeur and intimacy that is hard to replicate. Its main ballroom, with dazzling mirrored walls and towering ceilings, served as the nucleus of the celebration. The venue’s ability to combine a metropolitan aesthetic with an inviting warmth makes it a standout choice for upscale events.
Wedding mornings at the Park Lane epitomize classic luxury. Nestled in suites with sweeping views of Central Park, both bride and groom prepared alongside their teams, enveloped by an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation. The couple’s first look, held in the picturesque courtyard, was a heartfelt moment that set the tone for the rest of the day. Against the understated elegance of the space, their expressions were a perfect marriage of joy and admiration—a moment as timeless as the city skyline itself. From there, the couple embarked on a quintessentially New York photo tour, making full use of the prime location.
The Park Lane’s enviable proximity to Central Park and other landmarks allowed for striking backdrops at every turn. Vibrant, autumn-hued foliage framed Brittany and Guy as they posed among the park’s famed boulders, with the city skyline stretching dramatically into the distance. Nearby, the classic Park Lane marquis became a hallmark of their photo collection, an emblematic nod to the couple’s urban celebration. These captured moments offered a seamless blend of opulence and authenticity, proving why New York continues to be a dream wedding destination.
Back at the Park Lane, the stage was set for a ceremony and reception that epitomized sophistication. With impeccable coordination, the event space transitioned seamlessly between the ceremony and the evening celebration, maintaining its polished charm throughout. A standout feature of the evening was the enchanting floral design by Dalsimer Spitz & Peck, which lent the room an ethereal quality—floral arrangements that felt as if Central Park itself had been brought indoors. Toast Weddings Videography captured these moments with a cinematic lens, ensuring every nuanced emotion and radiant expression was preserved for posterity. Meanwhile, 74 Eventsorchestrated every detail flawlessly, ensuring the evening unfolded with effortless precision.

Maritime Parc Wedding : Jersey City, NJ
Kaitlyn & Javier were married in Jersey City at St Mary of the Immaculate Conception followed by dinner and dancing at Maritime Parc in Liberty State Park.
Kicking off my 2024 season in the best way, I had a truly fun time photographing this wedding celebration in March. As the summer changes in New York I’m seeing my season shift somewhat towards an earlier start in Spring and later wind down in the winter time. It was cool but not frigid on this day allowing for plenty of outdoor photos. As sometimes happens at weddings, a slight delay in the form of a twice as long as anticipated ceremony didn’t trip us up giving us an opportunity to take some photos in the street and around Liberty State Park before Kaitlyn & Javier made their way inside to party with friends and family.
We began the day with some getting ready photos at the lovely Canopy by Hilton Hotel Jersey City before making the short walk to the church. Brit Pooler of “Plan with BP” kept us all on target making for a stress free day. More and more I’m seeing an informal approach to a wedding party and on this day friends of Kaitlyn and Javier joined towards the end of getting ready for a toast. I really like this approach.
At the wedding reception Kaitlyn & Javier kept me around after the last dance to photograph their “hora loca” which really took things up a notch. Kaitlyn changed into a literally electric dress and all the guests were outfitted with all sorts of glow in the dark paraphernalia. It was a good time.
Lake Waramaug CC Wedding : New Preston, CT
Lizzie & Robbie were married “upstate” hosting their wedding at Lake Waramaug Country Club in June.
As a NYC wedding photographer, the bulk of my work is in the immediate tri-state area and The Hamptons. On this particular occasion I headed north a couple hours to New Preston. This was definitely the first time I’d been asked to photograph a bride and groom water skiing the day before the wedding. It started to pour… everyone was soaked (including me), and it was amazing. What a great kickoff to their wedding weekend.
The wedding day itself was a whirlwind of the emotions of getting ready with friends, dodging the changing weather, the exuberance of the first moments after saying I do, fireworks, food trucks, after party.. the list goes on. I was so happy and lucky to be involved.

Sole East Resort Wedding : Ying & Eric : Montauk, NY
Ying & Eric were married in the exquisite Hamptons, choosing the relaxing getaway Sole East Resort in Montauk, NY for their wedding ceremony and reception.
It makes for an early start to my day, but I love the drive to Montauk. When you’re headed East from NYC, there is a point a 90 minutes or so in where the trees transition from your typical random highway-side assortment to these ethereal, sea-green pines. This is the moment where any lingering stress begins to dissolve, even if I'm on my way for work.
This lovely couple asked me to come to Sole East to document their day after photographing their friends’ wedding in the city at The Pierre. I love these types of referrals that take you between two opposite ends of the spectrum in terms of venue style.
Upon reaching Montauk, I had a couple of hours to spare before I was to start by documenting the traditional Chinese tea ceremony. I utilized this time to familiarize myself with the venue and scout potential locations for photography. Located just a few moments from Sole East, we made our way to the bay side which was absolutely serene. We gathered the bridal party and family there after the first look and then it was off to the ceremony under the absolutely gorgeous sky that we were offered in the Spring.

SECOND Floor NYC Wedding : Kevin & michael : New York, NY
Kevin and Michael tied the knot in early spring at SECOND Floor NYC, situated within the Eventi Hotel in Midtown Manhattan.
This unique venue combines the charm of an urban industrial loft in Brooklyn with all the amenities of a towering NYC hotel. The location is perfect as Madison Square Park is just a stone’s throw away, providing a stunning backdrop for couples portraits. During cocktail hour, the entire wall of windows surrounding the bar can be raised to create an indoor/outdoor ambiance, weather permitting. A distinctive feature is the massive Jumbotron screen, which projects a slideshow of images across a courtyard. The grooms chose to showcase their beloved cat, making it seem like he was present at the event. What really stood out to me about this particular wedding reception was the use of an amazing disco ball. I think all weddings should have these! When it comes on - people go nuts haha.
I'm thrilled to have had the opportunity to shoot at SECOND again, and the vibe was nothing short of fantastic.
