TriBeCa Rooftop Wedding : Zach & Dan : New York, NY

Ever since New York State passed the law giving same sex couples the opportunity to get married I've become acquainted with a number of wonderful couples excited to finally tie the knot.  Zach & Dan were the first in line.  Some of you blog readers may know that I come from a musical background.  I was intrigued when Dan first contacted me mentioning that he and his fiancé were opera singers.  They came across my work on New York Magazine's editorial listing but we soon figured out that we had in fact been to grad school together at the same time.  And since school, I had photographed them as well as numerous members of their bridal party in staged productions.  Small world!Dan and Zach's wedding ceremony began with a concert presented by their closest friends.  With the soft lighting and musical tributes, the mood was warm and intimate.  Dona Vaughn, mentor and colleague of many in the room, performed the ceremony.  The stylish society and event hotspot TriBeCa Rooftop provided the backdrop for this affair.Enjoy!
